Cost Estimates
We understand that having your resume professionally prepared is an investment and work to keep our costs low and our time investment efficient. To help keep costs in line for our clients we bill strictly on a per hour basis. Hence, a little advance preparation and homework can do much to control costs.

Our rates are as follows for work scheduled in advance. Emergency, overnight or rush service is available at double the hourly rates quoted below. Call for an estimate.

Recent graduates, paraprofessionals
and early-career professionals:

Ideal for the early-career professional, recent graduate or candidate with a relatively straight-forward, short employment history. Time estimate is based on the client going to RochesterResume.com, completing the homework and coming prepared to the interview.

  • Estimated total project cost: $250.00 - $375.00

Mid-career-level professionals:
Ideal for the mid-career professional or recently displaced employee with 5-15 years of experience in his profession, where translating the value from his current line of work to a new endeavor is imperative, as well as documenting a relatively complex or sophisticated employment history of two or more professional job titles. Time estimate is based on the client going to RochesterResume.com, completing the homework and providing any additional material promptly that may be required after the interview.

  • Estimated total project cost: $380.00 - $570.00

Senior-level or executive-level professionals:
Ideal for the senior- or executive-level professional with 15-plus years of experience in his line of work, where there is considerable highly technical or complex history to document, and the client is need of competitive positioning in the market or industry. For outsourced candidates, this includes translating the value from the client’s current line of work to a new opportunity or industry. Time estimate is based on the client going to RochesterResume.com and completing the homework, the completion of additional homework offline that will likely be required, and additional phone consultation and support essential to collecting the desired information, delivering the finished product and supporting the client upon completion.

  • Estimated total project cost: Call for an estimate.

Our policies.
A deposit of 50% is required upon completion of the interview, with the balance due in full upon acceptance and delivery of the finished product. At the culmination of our first meeting, we will provide you with a detailed statement showing the work to be completed within the ranges quoted. You may wish to save the receipt for income tax purposes as a job search or business expense. Consult your tax advisor.

Cancellations on less than 24-hours notice will be billed for the first hour.
